Shots fired call leads to arrest

Hopkinsville police responded to a shots fired call early Saturday morning and arrested a suspect on felony charges.

Officers received the call of shots fired in the 100 block of North Elm and determined several shots had struck a home.

Investigation led to the arrest of 33-year old Jeffery Hollowell of Hopkinsville for first-degree wanton endangerment, receiving a stolen firearm, using restricted ammunition during commission of a felony, fleeing or evading police, possession of an open alcohol container in a motor vehicle and possession of marijuana.

No one was injured in the incident.
