There were 135 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Todd County in the last six days.
Public Health Director Jen Harris says 113 of them are adults, 22 are minors and only seven of the new cases are hospitalized. Only 46 of the new cases are vaccinated individuals and Harris says it continues to hold that those who do get COVID while vaccinated are much less likely to become hospitalized.
Thirty-six Todd County residents have died from COVID since the pandemic began.
Harris urges anyone who hasn’t to get vaccinated or to get their booster shot and to wear a mask when in public or when in large numbers of people.
