Snow still expected in region Thursday

Travel could be impacted Thursday by snowfall, with one to two inches of the white stuff in the forecast for most of western Kentucky.

Amounts are expected to be higher the farther east you go and the National Weather Service says a winter weather advisory will likely be issued at some point for the region.

Temperatures will remain below freezing Thursday, so anything that falls should accumulate.

The coldest weather of the season will follow the snow, with lows expected to fall into single digits Thursday night and highs Friday will be in the 20’s.
