The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a significant burglary from over the weekend.
A news release says Deputy Keith Suits responded Sunday to a burglary and theft complaint off KY 274 and Birdie Bannister Road.
The victim reported a large number of items stolen from multiple locations on the property. At least two buildings had been burglarized and a walk-behind brush mower, a cast iron stove, wood stove piping, 3×8 sheets of metal, a traditional push mower, drywall, plywood, rolls of insulation, wire shelves, various hand tools and miscellaneous other items were stolen.
The total loss is believed to be valued over $15,000.
There are currently no suspects and anyone with information about the crime is asked to call the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office at (270) 388-2311.
