A woman has been arrested in Clarksville, after she allegedly kidnapped a teen at gunpoint early Wednesday morning and led police on a pursuit.
According to the Clarksville Police Department, officers responded to a residence on Caskey Drive around 12:30 a.m. for reports of shots fired. Preliminary investigation revealed that 35-year old Sharanda Dooley allegedly entered the home, took property and then kidnapped a 17-year old victim at gunpoint. Dooley returned to the residence to attempt to take more property, and the teen as able to escape when Dooley was confronted.
Dooley allegedly attempted to flee police but crashed her vehicle—she was quickly taken into custody. She was arrested and charged with Aggravated Robbery, Extortion, and Aggravated Kidnapping.
