UK dominates WKU in first regular season meeting since 2001

Kentucky’s Kellan Grady strung together long jump shots, Oscar Tshiebwe outrebounded Western Kentucky all by himself on a record-breaking night that supplanted Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal.Grady made six three pointers and scored a season-high 23 points, Tshiebwe grabbed a Rupp Arena-record 28 rebounds along with 14 points and 20th ranked Kentucky used an 18-2 second-half run to blow out the Hilltoppers 95-60. WKU was led in scoring by Josh Anderson with 18 and Cameron Justice added 13. Hopkinsville’s Jamarion Sharp had eight points, six rebounds and seven blocks. UK improved to 9-2 while WKU fell to 8-5.
