Hopkinsville police officers, local deputies and their partner agencies helped approximately 200 local children have a merrier Christmas early Saturday morning through their Christmas Morning Miracle tradition.
Hopkinsville Police Department Record Clerk Patti Jaynes coordinates Christmas Morning Miracle and says the officers on the street identify families who could use a little help throughout the year.
She says the partnership with Pioneers, Inc, Altria and Huthamaki help make the effort successful.
Jaynes notes that many people have to take time away from their own families to make Christmas Morning Miracle happen.
Jaynes and her helpers will soon begin organizing the effort to provide a better Christmas for local families in need in 2022 and anyone wanting to help can call 270-890-1502.
