Ky. gains 2,566 COVID cases, 35 deaths

Kentucky gained an additional 2,566 cases of COVID-19 from Monday to Tuesday, and the positivity rate once again increased.

That rate is now at 9.33 percent, up from the 9.20 it was the day before—there were 35 newly reported deaths, putting the death toll in the Commonwealth at 11,882.  There are currently 1,205 individuals in the hospital with COVID-19, 328 in the ICU and 174 on a ventilator.

On the COVID-19 state incidence rate map, Christian County has once again become ‘orange’, but Todd, Trigg and surrounding counties are once again listed as ‘red’.
