The University of Kentucky found an opponent to replace Louisville tomorrow evening in Rupp Arena. Western Kentucky will make the trip to Lexington to face the Wildcats after the Cardinals had to bow out of the game due to Covid issues. WKU also had to give up a date at Austin Peay, but the game will be rescheduled next season. Pregame coverage from Lexington will begin at 3:30 tomorrow on Lite Rock 98.7 and lite987whop.com. Proceeds from tomorrow’s game will go to tornado relief efforts across western Kentucky.
It was also announced yesterday Kentucky and Bellarmine University will play in the 2022-23 season. The two schools had hoped to play Wednesday, but instead will play for the first time ever next season.
