COVID forces Predators to postpone games until at least Christmas

The NHL announced Saturday that the Nashville Predators and Boston Bruins will both be off until at least Christmas due to COVID-19 issues. Yesterday’s game for the Predators against Carolina was postponed, along with tomorrow’s game against Winnipeg and Thursday’s game at Florida.

Meanwhile, the NHL and its players association announced cross-border games will be postponed for the upcoming week. The announcement Sunday came as the league takes on a rising number of COVID-19 cases. Twelve games that would have taken place between Monday and Thursday are affected by the decision. The statement added that a final determination on whether NHL players will participate in the 2022 Beijing Olympics will also be coming soon.
