Suspects sought for November East Eighth Street fatal shooting incident

Hopkinsville police are seeking three suspects in connection with a November 28 fatal shooting incident on East Eighth Street.

Detectives are looking to arrest 22-year old Deovion Day for murder, first-degree assault and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

Meanwhile, 27-year old Jaquavian Spencer is sought for first-degree assault and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, and 21-year old  Zamarius Humphries for attempted first-degree assault and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

As previously reported, a call came out early in the morning of November 29 regarding a fight involving people at the Princess Theater and then gunshots rang out in the area of East Eighth between Haggard Law Office and the parking lot at the corner with South Virginia Street.

Hopkinsville police say 21-year old Aniya Collins of Hopkinsville was pronounced dead at the scene, Humphries was found lying on the road with a gunshot wound to the neck and he was flown to Skyline Medical center in Nashville, and 30-year old Gteria Acree of Hopkinsville went to Jennie Stuart Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the leg.
