A traffic stop of a stolen vehicle Friday night at Hayes and Mechanic Street led to the arrest of the driver.
Hopkinsville Police Officer Josh Stallons stopped 20-year old Imari Whitsel of Hopkinsville due to the vehicle being reported stolen from Enterprise Rental earlier in the day.
A search of the vehicle allegedly revealed an ounce of methamphetamine and a bag of marijuana.
Whitsel reportedly told police she didn’t know the vehicle was stolen, according to the arrest citation.
She was arrested and charged with felony receiving stolen property, trafficking in meth and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
