Shots fired call leads to arrest

A shots fired investigation early Saturday morning on Bryan Street led to the arrest of a man on multiple charges.

An arrest citation for 59-year old Jerry Moman of Hopkinsville says they were called to the area of Bryan Street around midnight and that Moman attempted to discard a gun in his possession when police made contact with him at 309 Bryan.

Police say he was in possession of another gun that had been reported stolen.

Investigation determined Moman was allegedly the suspect who had fired a handgun into a neighborhood earlier in the night.

A search warrant was executed at his address and allegedly revealed bags of marijuana and synthetic marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Moman was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, receiving a stolen firearm, trafficking in marijuana, trafficking in synthetic drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
