FEMA adds Christian, Logan, Lyon counties to major disaster declaration

FEMA has announced that Christian, Logan and Lyon counties are among six added to the federal major disaster declaration, opening up individual assistance to tornado victims in those locations.

Hopkins, Caldwell, Muhlenberg and Graves counties were already part of the major disaster and victims in any of those counties can apply online at disasterassistance.gov, by calling 800-621-3362, or by using the FEMA mobile app.

Individual assistance could include temporary housing assistance, basic home repairs and certain other uninsured disaster-related needs.
