Murray State had six players score in double figures as the Racers won their sixth straight game, routing Tennessee Wesleyan 118-48 last night. KJ Williams had 19 points while Trae Hannibal added 18. DaQuan Smith added 15 points and the Racers got 12 points each from Nicholas McMullen and Jackson Sivills. McMullen made it his first career double-double at Murray State with 10 rebounds. Murray State is 9-1 going into a Saturday night date with Chattanooga at the CFSB Center.
Women’s Scores: Murray State downed North Alabama 74-60. The Racers had four players in double figures led by Katelyn Young’s 17 points in improving to 7-2. Murray State will host Lipscomb at 5 pm Saturday as part of a doubleheader with the men’s team.
WKU’s Lady Toppers used an 11-2 run in the last 90 seconds to rally from a seven point deficit and defeat Miami University 60-58 yesterday. The Lady Toppers improved to 6-4 with the win and are back in action at Fairleigh Dickinson on Friday night.
Tonight’s Games: There’s a pair of women’s games on the docket as sixth ranked Louisville hosts Eastern Kentucky and Austin Peay visits UNC Asheville.
