Ky. adds 2,559 COVID cases, 14 related deaths

Kentucky gained 2,559 new cases of COVID-19 from Monday to Tuesday, and reported 14 new deaths.

The death toll has reached 11,676 in the Commonwealth since the pandemic began, and the overall case count is at 817,818. The positivity rate stayed fairly stagnant at 8.79 percent and there are currently 1,216 individuals in the hospital with COVID-19, 316 in the ICU and 175 on a ventilator.

On the COVID-19 state incidence rate map, Christian, Trigg and surrounding counties except for Todd County remain ‘red’—Todd County remains ‘orange’.
