Christian County Public Schools will be back in session Wednesday, with the exceptions of Pembroke Elementary and Crofton Elementary Schools.
According to a news release, South Christian Elementary in-school classes resume Wednesday, but the school is without landline phones or internet. Call 270-484-7600 or 270-887-7000 to reach South Christian. Crofton Elementary remains without power but will reopen once it is restored.
Superintendent Chris Bentzel says families who are still dealing with storm recovery and hardship can still keep their students at home without penalty for the remainder of the week. He warns that school buses could experience delays due to either road conditions or road closures.
High School final exams are postponed until the week of January 4 and each high school will publish their revised finals testing schedules.
This week’s missed school days will not be added to the school calendar. Families with specific questions should reach out to their student’s schools.
