There will be a full weekend of Christmas festivities in Hopkinsville.
Toby Hudson with Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation says it begins at 6 p.m. Friday on Founders Square with the lighting of the city’s tree, with Jace Blue to do the honors.
The Hopkinsville Electric System Nighttime Christmas parade commences at 5:15 p.m. Saturday and Pam Rudd says it goes along Main Street from Glass Avenue to 14th Street with 13 floats and a total of about 80 units.
Hudson says the always-popular Skating on the Square begins Saturday on Founders Square.
