WKU falls to Buffalo, Vandy women defeat Albany

Daviyon McKnight had 18 points for Western Kentucky but the Hilltoppers fell to Buffalo 77-67 in Bowling Green last night. Hopkinsville’s Jamarion Sharp had nine points, eight rebounds and five blocks in the contest. WKU is now 5-4 and play Ole Miss Saturday night in Atlanta, with pregame at 7:30 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP.

Women’s action saw Vanderbilt defeat Albany 52-41 to improve to 6-5 on the season. The Commodores host Presbyterian Saturday night in Nashville.
