A Hopkinsville woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash on the Tennessee River bridge on I-24 in Marshall County Tuesday afternoon.
Investigation by Kentucky State Police determined 24-year old Kayla Williams of Hopkinsville was eastbound about 1:30 p.m. when for unknown reasons she rear-ended a tractor-trailer operated by 47-year old Christy Mulford of Virginia, who was slowed with traffic due to an oversized load ahead.
Williams was pronounced dead at the scene by the Marshall County Coroner’s Office and investigation into the incident is ongoing.
