Christian Co. School Board could make masking optional in buildings at Thursday meeting

The Christian County School Board will discuss and possibly approve policy at its regular meeting Thursday night that would make masking optional for students, faculty and staff on any of the district’s campuses.

The late addition to the agenda could also authorize Superintendent Chris Bentzel to reimpose the masking mandate, in whole or in part, if the incidence of COVID-19 necessitates that action.

Masking would still be required in buses, if the proposal is approved.
