The Ohio Valley League announced its 2022 regular season schedule early today.The season will open on Wednesday June 1st with the Madisonville Miners visiting the new franchise in the league, the Louisville Jockeys. A league source tells WHOP Sports the Louisville ownership group will make a formal announcement later this month.
The Hoptown Hoppers will open the season on Thursday June 2nd hosting the defending champion Dubois County Bombers. The Hoppers will play their first road game on Friday June 3rd at the Fulton Railroaders. The Hoppers will also be part of a doubleheader on Saturday June 25th at Bowling Green Ballpark. The Hoppers will face Full Count Rhythm after a prelim game between the Franklin Duelers and Owensboro Riverdawgs.
