A shots fired investigation Saturday night on South Elm Street led to the arrest of a Hopkinsville man on felony charges.
Officers with the Hopkinsville Police Department responded to the call and made contact with a female victim, who said she and 20-year old John Obbie Vause of Hopkinsville had been in an altercation when he pulled a gun and threatened to kill her.
When the woman drove away, Vause allegedly fired shots at the vehicle that was occupied by two adults and three minors.
Members of the community helped police locate Vause, who was reportedly hiding in a home on North Elm.
He was arrested and charged with five counts of first-degree wanton endangerment and tampering with evidence.
