First District Kentucky Supreme Court Justice Shea Nickell is seeking a first full term in that seat in the 2022 election.
Nickell defeated state Senator Whitney Westerfield of Christian County in a 2019 special election following the retirement of former Justice Bill Cunningham.
He served on the Kentucky Court of Appeals before being elected to the high court and is currently unopposed in the non-partisan race.
