The Hopkinsville and Christian County High School bands represented the community well at the 4A state KMEA finals in Lexington Saturday.
The Colonel band finished fourth overall and the Hopkinsville Band of Tigers placed sixth in the 4A finals. It was the first time ever both schools had been in the state finals together.
Anderson County won the 4A state championship.
