A shots fired investigation near Taco Bell on Fort Campbell Boulevard Friday night led to the arrest of a local man.
Hopkinsville police received a report of a man carrying a duffle bag who fired two shots near Taco Bell a few minutes after 10 p.m.
Officers made contact with 40-year old Michael Ault of Hopkinsville and an arrest citation says he had a gun in his waistband and admitted to shooting at a car.
Police say he began screaming and struggled with officers attempting to arrest him.
Ault was charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
