A Hopkinsville woman was injured in a single vehicle accident early Saturday morning on West Seventh Street in Hopkinsville.
The collision report from Hopkinsville police says 49-year old Condela Hill of Hopkinsville had been westbound at a high rate of speed when her vehicle went off the right side of the road near the Dodge Store entrance.
It struck a mailbox and culvert before overturning onto its side.
Police say she was not wearing a seatbelt and had her windows rolled down, and was partially out of the passenger side window when officers arrived.
Hill had significant injuries and was taken by EMS to Tennova Health Hospital in Clarksville when Air Evac was unable to fly due to weather.
There was an odor of alcohol coming from the vehicle, according to the report.
