Princeton police arrested two people who were already under state supervision on methamphetamine charges Thursday.
Officers were called to a home in the 800 block of Old Madisonville Road in Princeton to assist Probation and Parole with a home visit.
A news release says police made contact with 50-year old Janet Jones of Princeton and 42-year old Brandon York of Benton and both were allegedly in possession of meth.
Further investigation led to Jones being arrested for trafficking in meth, trafficking in prescription pain-killers and possession of drug paraphernalia. York was arrested for possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.
