A cold front will move across Western Kentucky late tonight and early Monday morning and bring with it a chance for severe weather.
The Storm Prediction Center has Western Kentucky under a slight risk for severe weather and while damaging winds and large hail are the primary threats—an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.
Localized heavy rain could also cause flash flooding in the usual low-lying and poor drainage areas that are prone to flooding.
The National Weather Service in Paducah says storms are likely to arrive in the Trigg-Christian-Todd County areas between midnight and 3 a.m., so it will be especially important to have a way to receive weather warnings overnight when you are asleep.
