The American Athletic Conference announced today the applications of six Conference USA schools that want to join the league have been accepted. Florida Atlantic, Charlotte, North Texas, UTSA, Rice and UAB will give the AAC 14 teams for competition in football and basketball. A news release from the league stated the schools’ memberships will begin on a date to be determined.
