Over $30k worth of wiring stolen from Hopkinsville home

Hopkinsville police are investigating after $30,000 worth of copper wiring was stolen during a burglary in recent days on South Virginia Street.

Someone went inside the home in the 2000 block of South Virginia and cut out the wiring and removed 50-foot cords for temporary lighting, according to the HPD report.

No suspects are named and total value of the stolen property is listed at $30,750.
