About 2,300 Pennyrile Electric members in southwestern Christian and southern Trigg County served by the Pee Dee substation were without power for much of the night.
Officials at the cooperative say a piece of farm equipment snagged a line and broke a pole near the substation Tuesday night.
Crews responded almost immediately and had the power back on in the early morning hours.
No one was injured in the incident.
