The Atlanta Braves are just one win away from going back to the NLCS. Ian Anderson pitched five scoreless innings as the Braves blanked the Milwaukee Brewers 3-0 in Game Three of the NLDS yesterday. Joc Pederson homered for the Braves, who take a 2-1 series lead. Milwaukee finished with just five hits. Game Four is at 4:15 Central this afternoon.

The San Francisco Giants are one win away from advancing to the NLCS. San Francisco shutout the Los Angeles Dodgers 1-0 in a pivotal Game Three last night. Alex Wood went four-and-two-thirds scoreless innings before handing things off to the Giants bullpen, which combined to allow only three hits.
Evan Longoria provided the lone run with his solo homer in the fifth. Game Four at Dodger Stadium is at 7:07 Central this evening.

American League

Rain Monday postponed Game Four of the ALDS between the Houston Astros and White Sox in Chicago. The game will now be played today. Houston holds a 2-1 series lead and is one win away from advancing to the ALCS. Today’s game begins at 1:07 Central.

The Boston Red Sox are heading to the ALCS after they walked off the Tampa Bay Rays 6-5 to eliminate them in four games in the ALDS. Kike Hernandez drove home the game-winning run with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth.
