The Princeton Police Department is investigating a single-vehicle rollover crash that injured a Princeton woman Monday morning.
According to a news release, the wreck occurred around 8:30 a.m. on Jeff Watson Road when a vehicle driven by 41-year-old Laura Riley of Princeton was heading southbound when she lost control of the vehicle. Her vehicle went off the road and struck an embankment that contained a culvert, causing the vehicle to become airborne.
It flipped multiple times before coming to stop upside down—Riley was found upside in her seat belt. She was extricated from the vehicle and taken to Caldwell County Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
