10-year old hurt in hit-and-run collision in Clarksville

The Clarksville Police Department is investigating a hit and run collision from Saturday that sent a 10-year old to the hospital with serious injuries.

According to a news release, the 10-year-old female victim was riding her bicycle in the area of Sikorsky Lane and Raven Road when she was reportedly struck by red SUV type vehicle around 2:30 p.m. The child’s father took her to the hospital, where she is listed in serious but stable condition.

The vehicle involved in the collision was not found, though officers did search the area. They are asking for the public’s help in identifying that vehicle and the possible driver. Anyone with information on the incident, particularly with video footage, is asked to call Clarksville Crime Stoppers at 931-645-TIPS.
