Multiple reports Friday night stated Owensboro High quarterback Gavin Wimsatt is leaving school immediately to join Rutgers University’s football program. He has enough credits to graduate from high school and is receiving a big NIL deal to come to college now. Wimsatt had committed to play for the Scarlet Knights.
