Christian County Relay for Life is coming up on September 17, but that week will kick off with a ribbon-signing ceremony at the Christian County Justice Center.
Relay Chair Crystal Hightower says it’ll be Tuesday, September 14 at 5:30 p.m. in front of the Christian County Justice Center.
It’s a chance to honor those who are battling cancer and those who have died.
Anyone is welcome to attend and participate, with the main Relay for Event set for Friday, September 17 at the Sports Plex. Local teams and individuals have already raised $65,000 toward their $100,000 goal for the American Cancer Society.
