]Nearly two years ago to the day, Gary Vaught was introduced as the Hoptown Hoppers coach for the 2020 season. However, a game was never played due to the Covid pandemic. Today, Vaught was announced as the new coach for the 2022 season:
Vaught retired as head coach of the University of Indianapolis in 2018 with an NCAA coaching record of 986-701-3 and has over 1,400 career wins. Vaught has already been recruiting players for the 2022 season, indicating he currently has 19 commitments.
