Heat Advisory continues until 7 p.m. Thursday for Western Kentucky

More heat and humidity are in the forecast, as the National Weather Service Heat Advisory remains in effect until 7 p.m. Thursday.

Forecasters say heat index values of 100 to 108 degrees will make conditions dangerous for those working outdoors.

High temperatures will be in the lower to mid-90’s and the humidity will make it feel oppressively hot.

Those who must spend time outdoors are reminded to drink plenty of water, take frequent breaks indoors or in a shady area, wear light and loose-fitting clothes and know the signs of heat exhaustion.

Be sure outdoor pets have water and shade and never leave a pet or baby in a hot vehicle for any amount of time.
