Clarksville police are investigating a shooting from Friday night that left one person dead and another injured.
It happened about 11 p.m. in the area of Ninth and Shearor Street and officers responded to a shooting in progress and found two males with gunshot wounds.
Both victims were taken to Tennova Hospital and one later died from his injuries.

The victims’ names have not been released.
