The Courier Journal reports the Kentucky High School Athletic Association has changed its rule in regards to cancellations due to COVID-19. The rule now states if your team can’t reschedule a game with an opponent, the team takes a forfeit loss. KHSAA commissioner Julian Tackett says the change was actually announced in January and adds it was made partially as the result of teams taking advantage of the rule last year.

NFL

Tennessee Titans coach Mike Vrabel was not happy with the second joint practice with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers today. During a post workout news conference, Vrabel said the Titans didn’t do very well offensively. He didn’t think they competed like Wednesday and said the Buccaneers were clearly better today. Vrabel also said he would see how they respond and take to coaching and play on Saturday.

Golf

Princeton’s Emma Talley had a one over par 73 in her opening round today of the Women’s Open Championship at Carnoustie, Scotland. Talley had four bogies and three birdies in her round. There’s a three way tie for the lead at six under with American Nelly Korda along with Sei Young Kim and Madelene Sangstrom sharing the lead.
