The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is advising motorists of an upcoming road closure in Hopkins County.
According to a news release, Casner Road will be closed on Monday to allow a contractor to begin repairing a slide. The closure is expected to last about two months. The closure will begin at the intersection of Brown Road and extend approximately one mile. There will not be a posted detour, but road closure signs and message boards will be posted to notify motorists of the closure.
KYTC asks motorists to exercise caution in the project area and to be aware of signage and other traffic control, and be prepared for potential delays.
