The Christian County Health Department reported 297 new cases of COVID-19 in the community since last Thursday.
According to a news release, of those 297, 24 of them were ‘break through’ cases, which means those individuals were fully vaccinated. It puts active cases locally at 451, the highest that number has been in some time, and the number of individuals who have recovered from the virus is at 7,252.
Christian County has had 102 COVID-19 related deaths.
