Jennie Stuart Health revises visitation guidelines

Jennie Stuart Health is again adjusting their visitation policy in the wake of growing COVID-19 case numbers locally.

According to a news release, Jennie Stuart is limiting visitation to one support person or one visitor per patient—visiting hours will be from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. daily, with the exception of maternity and NICU.  No visitors under the age of 16 are currently allowed.

The 18th Street entrance remains open only for outpatient infusion, cardiac rehabilitation, and pulmonary rehabilitation patients. All other visitors are asked to enter through the main entrance near the Emergency Department—screenings will be provided at these two locations and no other hospital entrances will be open.

Upon arrival, visitors will be screened for fever, COVID-19 symptoms, and will be asked if they have been in contact with a lab-confirmed COVID-19 patient within the last 14 days.
