St. Louis Cardinals relievers couldn’t hold on to a lead in a 7-4 loss to the Atlanta Braves at Busch Stadium. J.A. Happ allowed two-runs over five-frames in his debut start for St. Louis before handing it over to the bullpen with a 3-2 lead. Nolan Arenado supplied the offense early for the Cards with a three-run homer in the first. The teams wrap up the series tonight.

Patrick Wisdom’s three-run double in the fifth lifted the Chicago Cubs to a 3-2 victory against the Colorado Rockies. The series concludes this afternoon at Coors Field in Denver.

The Cincinnati Reds announced their 2022 regular season schedule Wednesday. The Reds will open the season next year hosting the Chicago Cubs on March 31st. Interleague opponents that will visit Great American Ballpark next season are the Cleveland Indians, Tampa Bay Rays, Baltimore Orioles and Boston Red Sox.

The St. Louis Cardinals will open the 2022 season on the road for the ninth time in the past eleven campaigns. St. Louis visit the Pittsburgh Pirates at PNC Park on March 31st, before a trip to Chicago to face the Cubs for two games. The home opener is April 7th against Pittsburgh.

The Atlanta Braves will open the 2022 season in Miami against the Marlins on March 31st with the home opener against the Cincinnati Reds on April 7th.
