The Christian County Chamber of Commerce is gearing up to celebrate the agriculture community with a Chamber Eye-Opener Breakfast next week.
Mary Beth Shackelford with the Christian County Agri-Business Committee appeared on WHOP Wednesday morning and says the breakfast will take place on August 10 at the James E. Bruce Convention Center with breakfast starting at 7 a.m.
The keynote speaker this year will be Ag. Commissioner Ryan Quarles, who will talk about the success of the community and what’s happening state-wide.
She says they’ll be giving out awards at the event, and this is their chance to honor those individuals who dedicated so much to agriculture.
The event is free to attend but people are asked to RSVP so the Chamber can account for much food will be needed. To RSVP, call the Chamber at 270-885-9096.
