Kentucky Sports Radio reported Friday after going undrafted in Thursday night’s NBA Draft, former Wake Forest and Kentucky standout Olivier Sarr will join the Memphis Grizzlies for Summer League games next month. Sarr was the lone draft-eligible Wildcat to not hear his name called.
CBS Sports.com reported Friday Kansas coach Bill Self has tested positive for Covid-19. The 58-year-old Self has entered into a period of isolation after contracting the virus. Self said he is fully vaccinated and “feeling pretty good right now.” Self had minor symptoms Thursday and decided to test out of an abundance of caution before hitting the recruiting trail. His initial test on Thursday and a subsequent test yesterday both confirmed the diagnosis.
