Todd and Trigg counties each reported new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday and three deaths were noted in the Pennyrile region.
The Pennyrile District Health Department says a 96-year old woman died from the virus in Lyon County, a 66-year old man in Livingston County and a 57-year old man in Crittenden County.
Meanwhile, Trigg County reported six new cases, one minor and five adults between the ages of 5 and 57 who are all healing at home.
Todd County noted two new cases—both adults—one at home with mild to moderate symptoms and another adult whose information wasn’t available. All nine of Todd County’s active cases are healing at home.
Christian County is now orange on the COVID incidence rate map as the local health department will release its weekly report this afternoon. Todd is nearing orange on the upper end of yellow and Trigg remains green as the state data hasn’t been updated with the latest information.
