A stolen vehicle was located on North Iris Drive early Wednesday morning and a Hopkinsville man was arrested following a foot pursuit.
The 2009 Kia was reported stolen in Marshall County and Hopkinsville police received information that it may be driven by 33-year old Shawn Gilkey on his way home to Hopkinsville.
Officers located the automobile running in the driveway of a North Iris home and an arrest citation says Gilkey got out and ran to the back yard of a Thomas Street home when he saw police.
A K9 was used and Gilkey was arrested behind 2603 Thomas.
He was charged with felony receiving stolen property, fleeing or evading police and possession of an open alcohol container in a motor vehicle.
Gilkey was also served with a warrant for probation violation in relation to a previous burglary conviction.
