A U.S. Army soldier who was absent without leave when he allegedly claimed to be a law enforcement officer is being federally indicted.
Jaidan Higueros was missing from Fort Campbell when he allegedly carried a gun onto a flight from Chicago to Nashville earlier this year, saying he was a law enforcement officer transporting evidence to the FBI.
Paperwork filed on Monday shows Higueros has been indicted on charges of carrying a weapon or explosive on an aircraft and false personation, officer or employee of the United States.
Higueros was arrested on February 15th when the United Airlines flight from Chicago to Nashville International Airport landed.
